Tonight's special guest is Patricia (Patti) Tibbits from Illinois, an abuse survivor who founded Mothers Against Child Molesters in 2007. She established the group "with hopes to bring awareness to the unaware." Patti says she wants to offer hope, moral support and encouragement to survivors of child abuse from someone who experienced abuse in more ways then one. She explains she had her whole entire life ripped from under her, was turned away by her Victims Advocate, and had no voice .. until NOW. She says, "I was molested and abused, I married a child molester who molested my child and many others for years and years, right behind my back." He was eventually prosecuted and given two 20 year consecutive prison sentences. Patti goes on, "I want to change the laws. I want tougher sentences, more intensive therapy and rehab for molesters, so we can get into their brain's. No matter what, they are human, their evilness comes from somewhere inside." Patti concludes, ".. maybe we can stop them before they attack. We need to take a stand for those with no voice."
