Tonight's special guest is Lurleen Hilliard, from Ireland, a child abuse activist and author of the soon to be released book "Survivors Not Statistics." Lurleen's activism reaches far across "the pond" as she's in regular phone contact working with American, Canadian and others overseas. Two of her sons were abused as children, sexually and violently. Lurleen has numerous opinions and issues that are especially important to her: 1) Education of all children to be included in the National Curriculums from kindergarten upwards, 2) Compulsory ankle bracelet with full GPS trackers on all accused of sexual abuse against kids, 3) Compulsory jail sentence once a man or woman is convicted of sexual assault of a child should be life imprisonment without ever the possibility of parole or the death penalty. She says, "Human rights activists would say that the above jail sentence infringes on the criminal's human rights and personally the way that I look on it is simple .. they lost the right to be treated as a human being the second they decided in their head to abuse and hurt or murder a child for their own gratification."
