SPECIAL TOPIC Night - The Manifestation of Blame, Guilt, & Shame for survivors. Elaine Crocker and her guest Gloria Hass will lead the discussion about how sexual assault victims often blame themselves for the crime committed against them. Victims feel they should have done something differently (therefore they feel it is their fault - undeserved guilt). Or victims feel there is something inherently wrong with them (causing them to deserve to be assaulted - shame).
