SPECIAL TOPIC Night - Steps To Overcoming Child Sexual Abuse - Elaine Crocker and her guest Karen Doughty will lead the discussion. Karen Doughty is an adult survivor of child sexual abuse. The very reason that she advocates for victims of sexual abuse is that she overcame the harsh reality of being perpetrated upon. She holds a BA in social work and a MS in criminal justice. She is also notable for her radio personality and the launching of “The Lighthouse Rescue Radio Ministry Broadcast.” She is a member of the Louisiana Foundation against Sexual Assault and RAINN (Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network) speakers’ bureau. Karen has written 2 books: Uprooting the Seed of Abuse and Overcoming Child Sexual Abuse The Workbook.
