Tonight's special guest is Elizabeth Lowder, MSW, LCSW, from Sage Tree Therapy in St Louis, Missouri, here to discuss her work .. Talk Therapy for Women and Teens. Ms. Lowder is an expert in the field of Trauma Therapy and Healthy Sexuality. Throughout her fifteen year career, she has served women and teens in a variety of settings including law enforcement, County Prosecutor's Office, domestic violence shelters and residential treatment facilities for teen girls affected by violence. She earned a Masters in Social Work at Saint Louis University where she specialized in Sexual Health. She's educated thousands of women in teens in the Saint Louis area via Planned Parenthood and the County Health Department. She recently transitioned from Safe Connections, a local community health agency specializing in women affected by violence, where she was the adult support group manager and now owns Sage Tree Therapy. She is a certified O.W.L. sexuality educator. Elizabeth believes in the power of survivors. Her strength-based approach empowers clients to make healthy choices and value self-compassion.
