SPECIAL TOPIC Night - "For Our Kids" - Deborah Maddison and Tracy Baxter, Canadian activists from British Columbia, will join Bill Murray to lead this evening's discussion about the Rights of Children and Families in North America. Tonight's TOPIC: We are supposed to believe children when they allege someone has been sexually inappropriate with them. In reality, however, it seems we are not listening. Are we as a society and with our institutions creating the child sexual abuse pandemic? What message are we really sending our children? Why aren't we protecting them? It is far easier to build a strong child than to try and fix a broken adult, but it seems we are doing just that. Join us as we speak with panelist Kelli Benis from Alberta, Canada, author of "Shredding the Same: Healing Childhood Abuse" and guests Angel Cook from Cleburn, Texas, and Ryan McKinnon from British Columbia, Canada, whose entire families have been through this nightmare and are still fighting to have their children heard and their trauma addressed. We will be discussing this very serious issue and what we can and must do to stop this pandemic and stop destroying the very children who are our future - all our futures. We know this is a tough topic, but it's one that desperately needs to be addressed. We can stop this pandemic.
