Tonight's special guest is Kelly M. Scott from Midlothian, VA, a child abuse survivor with a long history of trauma who was raped at 14, molested at 15, had her memory blocked from other early childhood abuses. It was restored when she was 31, releaseing all kinds of truth in her family. Many many generations of abuse came out. Anxious to help others, she's starting a new Facebook survivor's group, Survivors Unite. Kelly grew up the youngest of 5 kids, but her closest sibling was 14 years older than she. Her police officer father eventually became Chief, so her mother did most of the child raising. Kelly was assaulted and reaped by her 18 year old boyfriend when she was 14 years old .. but she kept the story a secret. A year later she was repeatedly molested by an adult neighbor. Eventually the man was found out and received a 2 year probation. In her mid 20s she got pregnant by a man who she discovered was living a double life. He beat and assaulted her and she left him for the sake of the infant child. At 31 Kelly met and married her "Knight in Shining Armor" .. but was about to enter the most confusing and painful part of her life. She was seen by a Psychiatrist, medicated heavily and entered a mental institution where she eventually had powerful and provocative visions over a 4 night period. In the end she queried her family member and was able to learn of the many repressed / hidden facts of her earlier life. Among other things she learned her oldest brother (20 years her senior) had molested his siblings, and that her mother had been raped and molested by her grandfather when he got drunk. "It all started making sense and the clues were lining up for me," Kelly says, "it's been going on [in my family] for a long time."
