Q & A Night - You'll suggest the themes for tonight's show, which will involve any topic from the world of public safety, violence prevention, and child abuse and trauma. Special co-host Dr. Debra Warner, Psy.D., a Los Angeles based Forensic Psychologist will lead the discussion, joined tonight by her colleague, attorney David Pisarra, who's is in town and wants to join us. David's long history of dealing with issues close to NAASCA's mission have been expressed as a columnist, podcaster and public speaker. An outspoken gay man, he practices family law, specializing in men's and father's rights issues. Among other things, David's been litigating domestic violence cases, and represented men and women against abusive partners. He's written a "What's The Point?" Column in the Santa Monica Daily Press for the past 13 years, along with countless articles for bar journals, websites, magazines and newspapers. He has written three books for men in his 'A Man's Guide to….' series on Child Custody, Divorce Strategy and Domestic Violence. ~~ Dr Debra Warner will be our regular special co-host on Tuesday night question-and-answer style community participation shows. An educator and violence prevention expert, Debra's understanding of the issues of child abuse and trauma spring not only from a professional perspective, but also from a personal one. Multiple members of her own family have been victims of predators.
