Tonight's special guest is Kym Harmony Tracy from Robinson, Illinois, a returning NAASCA family member who's a survivor and activist and an Inspirational Christian speaker. "For most of my life I've have heard, 'but you seem so normal.' Well, I'm far from normal. As a matter of fact, I call my life a beautiful mess," says Kym. "And then, just when I thought I could no longer take it, when I felt I couldn't even breathe, God entered my life at just the right time." Kym reports, "I have experienced many things from most all forms of [sexual] mental, physical and emotional abuse as well as divorce and dysfunctional relationships." She was in the second grade when she was first molested. At 9 she was abused by a babysitter and at 16, still a virgin, she was date-raped by her then boyfriend. Kym says, "Since we last spoke I decided I really needed to get down to the rawness of my wounds. I felt to really feel that true pain I needed to revisit the places that the monsters changed my life for ever." She goes on, "I went back to childhood places of attacks. I spoke with my rapist. I confronted my abusive father. I gained much more insight as to my purpose and what God has planted in my heart." She concludes, This past year has been a whirlwind of emotions and some have physically tried to stop me from speaking out. I AM READY TO ROAR!"
