SPECIAL TOPIC Night - "Examining Institutional Abuse" with special co-host Dr Jill Jones-Solderman (PhD, MSW, MSHS), a NAASCA family member. ~~ TONIGHT'S TOPIC: "The Family Court Embraces / Canonizes Fraud and Cash For Kids" ~~ Brooke Altman, a four time Emmy winner, never imagined that in 2011, when her child was three and a half years old, a court would transfer her biological child into the hands of her partner, Allison Scollar, Esq, on the basis of false allegations and a fraud perpetrated on the court by her lawyers, in conjunction with court actors. In Nov. 2017, Allison was sentenced on four felonies for money laundering and theft of funds from her own law firm escrow account. The time-line of the thefts support statements of associates of Allison Scollar who relate that funds were stolen and then passed to intermediaries who were themselves tasked with paying court actors and a Forensic psychologist to arrange for the transfer of custody from the biological and protective parent, Brooke, to her former partner, Allison. Following the sentencing a new phrase pervades the airways, “criminal conviction has no relevance to parenting.” Apparently felony convictions are irrelevant. ~~ NAASCA knows "institutional abuse" is rampant, worldwide, and dramatically effects childhood experience of our youth, frequently causing trauma that lasts a lifetime. Many issues of child abuse involve dealing with the courts and law enforcement, foster care, child protection services, CASA and CAC organizations, etc. Jill's experience with her Foundation for Child Victims of Family Courts and her US Whistleblower effort uniquely position her to speak to these issues.
