SPECIAL TOPIC Night - "Child Abuse Prevention" ~~ Tonight's OPEN MIKE discussion will feature NAASCA family member Dale Hemming from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, whose explicit graphic billboard campaigns have become well know to our followers. His non profit organization, Sioux Falls Feminists, addresses numerous topics throughout the year on a number of issues near and dear to NAASCA's mission. Among them is their Child Abuse Prevention billboard campaign. -- PRESS RELEASE -- The Free Thinkers web site contains numerous resources on where to find help, from centers and counselors to hotline numbers. As Dale writes, "We are here to let women and children know they are not alone."  Dale explains. "If one looks at the appalling statistics and facts on child abuse you will understand my involvement in the issue," Dale says. He's addressing these issues head on, and at his own expense. "I believe we need to stop hiding the ugliness of child physical and sexual abuse." His billboard images and wording are as explicit as freedom of speech allows. Dale has appeared on our show many times, always sharing about the terrific work he's doing for his home town. He's also one of our most dedicated volunteer contributors.
