Tonight's special guest is Beth Donahue from Port Richey, Florida, a returning NAASCA family member who's both a survivor and an activist. She'll be catching us up with any number of things she's been doing over the last year or so. "I have been targeted by my family and have lost friends and people I love," she explains, "mainly because I wouldn't waiver on my beliefs that children should be put first and no one has the right to ever abuse them in any way, shape or form." Beth has told us she has taken a copy of a bill from Protect Mass Children and is turning it into a federal bill, "It is to abolish the Statute of Limitations for Childhood Sexual Abuse (CSA). I will be going to Washington DC with it." The Protect Mass Children mission is  to pass stronger laws to protect children from sexual predators and to educate the community. Beth herself is a survivor who was sexually abused by 3 men as a child, but she's been an advocate for children most of her adult life. "I was involved with helping start the organization The Innocence Revolution," Beth reminds us, letting us know she's going to be starting it back up. But she's even doing more. "I'm going to try and get the NFL to do a day for us," she says! Beth's paid a price because of her advocacy, too. "I have been targeted by my family and have lost friends and people I love," she explains, "mainly because I wouldn't waiver on my beliefs that children should be put first and no one has the right to ever abuse them in any way, shape or form." We're delighted to have her back on the show!!
