Tonight's special guest is FS. She's a child abuse and domestic violence survivor whose parents divorced when she was young. She and her sisters were raised in a single-parent home with their mother. She had traumatic teen and young adult years and had no idea awaited her. She now calls herself an adversity warrior, and is an activist and author who helps young girls, teens and women. Her misunderstanding of what a 'relationship' looked like was given to her at an early age. For years, she mimicked unhealthy relationship behavior with guys, leading her into the life experience of fighting through four domestic violence relationships. She found herself in over the next few years with men that led her to relive similar experiences of losing love she'd seen before. Eventually she felt tired of the aggressive arguing and mistreatment from the wrong men. That led her to a man who was the complete opposite of those she'd dated before. They married in 2010. She fought her way through emotional and mental abuse from family members, life-threatening harassment over gang controversies, molestation from friends of the family, homelessness, human trafficking, stripping, selling her body, doing drugs, selling drugs, and two near death experiences. But she's a fighter who combats domestic violence, sexual assault, and drug abuse. It's her promise that every woman and teen girl that connects with her will never have to worry about a story being shared, or a secret being told, and can get help with being okay with every decision made during their times of unexpected life trials.
