Tonight's special guest is Melora Vogel from Punta Gorda, Florida, grandparent,  advocate and co-author (with her husband, Dave) of 'Protecting TROY: Breaking the Chain of Child Abuse', a shocking personal story about two caring grandparents who find themselves in the midst of a custody battle concerning their two-year-old grandson, Troy (from Georgia), who they believed had been neglected his mother. “Before writing this book," they say, "we lived comfortably. We were middle-aged, middle-class of the United States with a small family-owned business. For twenty years, we worked in the same industry, with the primary focus of helping underprivileged children." One morning they got some bad news about their grandson, Troy, and that marked the beginning of the end of their comfortable reality, and the starting point of our journey into changing the systemic failures and the cyclical problems they encountered.
