Tonight's special guest is Kari Kelley from Sunnyvale, California, a child abuse survivor, abandoned by her biological parents, abused by foster parents, traumatized by bullying and betrayals in love, and worst of all, blinded, by being shaken too hard as an infant. Yet she has risen from the ashes to be not only enjoying every moment of her life now, but also actively pursuing her vision to make the world a better place for children! Kari is an author of 'Living Resiliently', a heroic story that provides the reader with points to ponder which can effectively help one in overcoming sorrows. Kari is a woman with a mission, a passion to create a support system for women to overcoming issues that prevent them from experiencing loving and deeply connected relationships. Kari was featured in an 'I am Enough' article (issuu magazine, p26-29), and shared her heart and story with such depth, authenticity and vulnerability you will be powerfully moved. "I am passionate about advocating for awareness and prevention of child abuse," she says, "and my life experience is such that I feel compelled to provide support to adult survivors." She goes on, "I am so excited to have been featured in the March 2023 edition of the RHG Magazine (page 29 and 30)!!". Kari's the author of 'Black Blind and Female'. In it, Kari receives a request for forgiveness from her long dead adoptive mother. In order to find the freedom of forgiveness and the ecstasy of unconditional love Kari is compelled to come to terms with long held feelings of bitterness and anger.
