March 5 was the start of Women in Construction Week. Running until March 11, 2023

Growing up in East New York, Brooklyn, Nephetia always knew that she would be a successful professional and decide to steer her attention into becoming an electrical apprentice in March 2007.  Working for Local 3, IBEW , she was trained and taught the trade and became a Journeywoman in March 2018.  Nephetia took advantage of the opportunity and gained certifications in Solar paneling, electrical wiring, communications and project management, just to name a few. 

Most recently, Nephetia added author to her resume! Her first book has received five stars and best seller notoriety on Amazon. It is titled, ‘ Rebuilding After Divorce’. A devotional for those who have gone through divorce or separation.  

Nephetia currently resides in New Jersey where she takes pride in caring for her three sons, Tyshaun, Rishawn and DaeShawn.
