Vivek Ramaswamy is the current GOP flavor of the month. Complete with both prep school and Ivy League credentials, he attempts to position himself as the anti-elitist. Some media outlets have called him 'Trump-lite' while others claim he has the Obama charm while pushing the fascist MAGA agenda. So, who is Vivek? How did he make his fortune? Our second story was recorded once before a few weeks ago, but it 'mysteriously' disappeared. This story deals with the REQUIREMENTS of the 14th Amendment, specifically the part that demands a politician, even a president, be permanently disqualified from ever holding office if they participate or incite an insurrection against the nation. Trump clearly incited the Jan. 6th insurrection and now evidence has surfaced that he was involved in the planning. I will also discuss the legal doctrine of 'willful ignorance.'

MTG for Vice President...of what? Her book club? Oh no wait, can she even read much less put together a coherent thought to make a sentence? Republicans must stop joking around like that. Crazy talk galore as they up the anti on their collective craziness. At least she doesn't see Russia from her house, right?
Sydney "Kraken" Powell requested a speedy trial. As law dictates, that requirement must be honored within 60 days of request. Will Powell intentionally or unintentionally throw Trump under the bus? Either way, her future is grim as Rudy Guiliani's. Guiliani is so broke that he may have to defend himself. What will Judge Chutkin do to punish Trump who has been making vile threats and emboldened his MAGAts to do numerous atrocities against witnesses, prosecutors and grand jury members. Fani Willis not playing around either. Will Trump be thrown in jail for contempt and fined a hefty sum for deliberately defying his gag order? Will the Georgia trial of Trump be televised? That would be great as it would start the healing process and bring closure. If Trump becomes the 2024 GOP nominee, will he have to wear an ankle bracelet or will he be thrown in jail like the common criminal that he is as he awaits trial?

Janine Sternlieb is a lover of literature, history, and theatre, In her role as a playwright, she combines all three. She created a call-in radio book club in Sonoma County, CA and interviewed such luminaries as Mary Karr, Michael Frayn, Ursula Hegi, and Tom Stoppard. She produced a writing contest of short plays on the subject of Thomas Jefferson and Sally Hemings. Her contribution, set on the day Jefferson died, was titled Mistress of Monticello.
She wrote The Four Sisters or Time’s Up!: a Chekhovian Guide to Climate Change.
When she isn't writing and producing theatrical works, she is raising money for pro-democracy get-out-the-vote efforst. She received a BA in English from Oberlin College and an MA in teaching from Boston University.
