How are you? Or, How are Lew?

Well, he’s the man to replace Tim Geithner as Sec. of the Treasury. Did you hear the hand-wringing over Obama’s Cabinet choices? Not enough diversity? Too many white males? Not enough females? Did I hear anyone say, “no black people”? Oh, I almost forgot the “Magic” one makes up for all failures to “color” the White House.  My “bad”.

On another note, O.K., you got me “tagged”; I’m beating the dead horse. Yes, “Gun control” is back in the news (it never really left).

With Obama promising “sweeping changes”, and NY Governor Andrew Cuomo, vowing to “Enact the Toughest Assault Weapons Ban in the Nation”, plus Joe Biden’s “gun summit”, Day 1 with “yeas”, Day 2 with “nays”, including the NRA and Wal-Mart, and he being required to bring a recommendation to Barack Obama by Tuesday, things are at a critical mass. After all, the word is that he can and will enact some sort of Executive Order.

Of course, those on the “nay” side, blame the NRA and its purported influence over certain members of Congress, for the massacres at Aurora, Colorado and Newtown, Connecticut. Frankly, I’d think they’d welcome a complete gun ban, across the aisle.
