C.D. How Come I Can't Mix Religion & Politics?

A few weeks ago, I was abmonished for holding Hillary Clinton to a religious standard, using such as a benchmark, by which to oppose her social / cultural views (which practically mirror Obama's, btw).

Afterwards, I got to thinking how when convenient, both she and Mr. Obama use religious references, when attempting to embellish themselves. Even Michelle got into the act, even comparing her husband to the Prophets of God. Seems if, these folks can infer religion, so can I.

Elsewhere, the Assault Weapons Ban has come to a humiliating defeat, prompting Barack Obama to decry the "shame in Washington". Is it? After all, it's just politics (so, I'm told).

Looks like the Obama Administration will get its way, towards amnesty for illegal immigrants (psst. it's really Immigration reform!).
