It seems that every week, discontent among the black community rises, in light of deaths of black men, as a result of confrontations with police, with ire reaching a fever pitch, after the death and funeral of Freddie Gray of Baltimore...
With the rioting that followed, the house is divided,, as one side maintaining that the actions are to be expected, in light of continued economic and police oppression, while others, including Barack Obama describing the people as thugs. Ironically, some have condemned him for using what is considered by some, a code word for "nigger"...
We must however, be crystal clear about the chain the events, from the time Gray was pursued by the BPD, through his apprehension, transport to the hospital and death.
What led to the encounter with the police in the first place?
How was his back broken? Did he undergo spinal surgery, earlier?
Are the officers to blame for not properly stabilizing him?
Did the transport vehicle in which he was riding, make improper detours?
Did Gray bang his head against the wall of a van, thus causing his own mortal injuries?
Through all of this enter Al Sharpton and ""Queen-B" Clinton, the latter who incidentally offered a "solution" to the criminal justice system - the cessation of "mass incarcerations".
Almost forgot, the "Mom of the Year" - REALLY?
But please join me in hope and prayer, that the truce that has been called by the street gangs of Baltimore, becomes fixed and lasting, and spreads throughout - Allah Willing
