Today I want to share personally how to plan a trip to remain physically, mentally and financially healthy.
1. Destination (Switzerland), (Prague)
2. How long (8 - 10 days)
3. Climate (cooler than Southern CA)
4. Travel arrangement: Airline and train
5. Food: Airplane snacks, meals or take our own
6. Passport, ID card Check for expiration date, just got brand new ones!
7. Comfort: How long do we want to sit still? How much leg space do we have? How spacious are the seats?
8. Layover: found flights with 45 min to 18+ hours
9. Time change: USA - CH 9 hrs, what if....
10. Jet lag can be reduced by drinking lots of water
11. Who all do we want to visit? (Mom, siblings, cousins, friends
12. How much can we spend on trip, visit, food, etc.?
13. How important is this trip to us?
14. How does it all affect us physically, mentally and financially?
15. How do we plan best for a successful trip, stay and time?
16. Choose the best Airline for us, compare prize, time in the air, layover time, rating of airline, route of airline, service of stewards, etc.
Be prepared for any deviations as that is part of life. If you need to travel with medications, CPAP, or other aids, make sure it's all OK with airline before going to the airport.
