Good morning and welcome to Get Healthy Now. As we are entering the Holiday Season, we have much to consider that relates to our mental, physical and financial health. We have a choice to create a healthy, wonderful, blessed season, or one where we get sick either mentally, physically or financially. The choice is as always yours. The reason this topic is so important to me is because of who I am and what I am doing and because I care so much about people, I choose to believe in the good and want to help prevent tragedy. My name is Denise Thomson. I've been in the health field for over 50 years and have seen situations that could easily be prevented, hence, my passion to create awareness.
Halloween: is the evening before the Christian holy days of All Hallows' Day (also known as All Saints day) on November 1. Fun: pumpkin carving, decorating, baking or cooking with pumpkin, trick or treating, crafts, writing poems. 2. Eating too much, trick or treating without supervision, not careful what you receive, having your goodies screened by the Police to be safe. 3. Follow the safety protocall in your area. 4. Use common sense, don't enter any homes or cars where you are not very familiar with the people or worse, don't even know them.
Just to recap why this affects all three: healthy mind, healthy body and healthy finances. It's simple, we keep safe and pay attention, don't over eat with sweets, keep a safe distance, etc. we can avoid going to the doctor or hospital, no medical bills, no extra expenses, all under control, happy and healthy!
