Good morning and welcome to get healthy now. OK, maybe this topic interests you more than the previous few. With the Holidays so close, packages being mailed out, received, etc. be careful. Track them both ways. See, I was supposed to receive one for my hubby yesterday, it said delivered at front door, yet there was no package there. So, where is it? What is in it? Who would need what's in there? How would the thief know what's in the package????

My name is Denise Thomson, I have lived in my neighborhood for the last 18 + years, and we never had such a serious problem of theft as we have now, especially the last 2 years. Whenever I hear someone or something I jump out of my seat and check at the window. Never heard anyone, no delivery, no whistling, no door bell, or knock at the door, yet UPS says they delivered and I have nothing in my hands. Most of the time it's specific stuff for hubby's work so he knows when he has the items he needs to fix things that are needing work done.

Some helpful suggestions:

Do not send wrapped up packages in birthday, wedding, holiday paper. Use regular boxes and wrap the presents inside the very well sealed shipping box, so nobody can open it easily and see that there are presents in it.

Don't ship too many packages on the same day, spread them out at different days and times or drop them off at the post office, FedEx, UPS, etc. Do not leave any packages unattended, use the Airport Security voice through the loudspeakers warning you to never leave yoru luggage unattended.

Sad, but true. We need to be careful so we can celebrate a happy and blessed Holiday Season.
