    How do you pay for your pastor and religious organization's staff.  First Harvest Ministries found a solution and it can be duplicated. Mormons don't pay their leaders. Members of the church are in charge of an area as volunteers. I was raised Lutheran, but I believe we can put out heads together and solve the problem so we can not make it necessary to have 501 c3 which restricts free speech on religious leaders. In JFK's time, Father O'Connell was speaking out against the New World Order as were many others and that is why Lyndon Johnson (LBJ was JFK VP) put muzzles on the churches. No taxation as long as no talking about politics.
    By the way, pastors, rabbis, deacons, reverends, priests, clergy people--there is an easy way for your congregation to support you which will help reduce the need for a high salary from the congregation. Getting community sponsors is another. After all, when you have a community church, you have buyers of goods and services. If you have a thriving religious center, recruit business sponsors. Many churches don't have enough congregation size to pay $100 K a year to a pastor. That is the salary needed to live in CA and that is not enough to buy a big house assuming  you have kids. . New ideas must be incorporated. Take the chains off. Let's put our heads together and solve the equation.
    I have an idea for a person who would like to earn money by teaching young people to sew.  I even have material and a project that would provide an article of clothing that repair sewing would be done on for  about 2 dozen kids. You can take a set amount for the class you conduct from the parent and then meet at your church to do the group project or have parents stay for a socia/Bible study l while you teach your skills.  I have a brand new sewing machine that I wanted to offer as a prize at the Inspired Vision Event.
