Tonight's special guest is Jennifer (Jenny) Murphy from Fort Meyers, Florida, a returning NAASCA family member and a Child & Family Therapist, Child Advocate, CSA & Sex Trafficking expert who was last with us in 2016. We were both surprised it had been that long and Jenny says she's done lots of things since then." I've been working with Sex Crimes victims/Survivors & offenders since 1987 throughout North America," she said. "There are many layers to the work we do locally and globally for kids & families in our communities." Jenny's work sounds surprisingly like NAASCA's, and includes  Prevention, Protection and Prosecution. "Behind the scenes we do a lot of work to get laws changed or passed. We carry out investigations and call out the frauds, liars, and thieves." She goes on, "We have no currency. We are aligned with no one. We don't ask or beg for moneysom we can not be bought. We do this work because it is what was asked of us." Jenny explains, " We are currently focused on our End Demand Initiatives which includes 3 comprehensive End Demand .. Clinical, Educational & Social Programs." The three are  1. Sex Trafficking Offender Program or (STOP) for traffickers & repeat offenders.  2. Sex Crimes Offender Program Education or (SCOPE) which is a restorative justice behavior modification program to be used as a Diversion Program for 1st or 2nd time Misdemeanor sex buyers and  3. Sex Therapy & Education for Men (STEM) a therapeutic intervention for men trying to rid themselves of sex and/or addiction. Jenny says, "Until we address demand we will continue to have more and more victims."
