Tonight's special guest is Elizabeth Gagnon (Liz) from Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, who's a survivor making a difference with a strong tea educating through the Teaching Educational Awareness (T-E-A) program. A survivor of extreme abuse, Elizabeth experienced trauma from childhood abuse, sexual abuse, domestic abuse and more. As a child she survived family danger, not 'stranger danger'. She was sexually abused at the age of four and became pregnant by a uncle at 14. She lost the child, a stillborn. Elizabeth was in and out of foster care homes. Early adulthood lead to even more abuse, of domestic violence and being sold to her now ex husband. "My healing started when I wrote in my first anthology book along side many others share their stories. I have written chapters of my life in the 'Sacred Hearts Rising' series,"  It addressed child abuse, mental health, domestic abuse. She wrote of her life as a butterfly transformation in 'Unstoppable Gems'. Elizabeth is the founder and creator of Miss Liz’s Tea Parties/Teatimes started in 2015, bringing awareness to the issues topics and individuals who are making a difference. "Today I am a best selling author, speaker and advocate for survivors who may hear my story and find the courage to get out and live a life of no more abuse. I use the tools I learned along the way and the services that supported me in my healing journey as my toolbox of staying strong." See her YouTube interview: https://youtu.be/THYLeTRVzAU
