In September, she was awarded the 2016 Global Wildlife Conservation Champion Award by the GES Africa Conservation Fund for her support of animal conservation efforts, kindness, compassion and generosity. S. in Biology she debated to pursue med school or her love for fitness. She decided to hold off on medical school and got certified as a personal trainer and nutritionist and kept competing in fitness competitions. Jodi's career drastically changed at this point. She moved to Las Vegas to pursue a career in fitness modeling, commercial modeling, personal training and nutrition. Along the way she worked for several nutrition companies.
