Justice Warriors with cartoonists Matt Bors and Ben Clarkson
in Pop Culture
Possibly the most political comic on the stands, Justice Warriors is a brutal, hilarious and ornately drawn new satirical comic about policing, power and AI in the dystopian Bubble City. Join series co-creators Ben Clarkson and Matt Bors as we talk about their first trade paperback published by Ahoy Comics.
Matt Bors is a cartoonist, writer, editor, and the founder of The Nib. He was a Pulitzer Prize Finalist for his political cartoons in 2012 and 2020 His cartoons were collected in the book We Should Improve Society Somewhat.
Ben Clarkson is an artist, animator, filmmaker and writer based in Montreal. His work has appeared on Adult Swim, Time.com and been featured in GQ. Justice Warriors is his first comic series.
I want to credit Justice Warriors colorist Felipe Sobriero for his work too.

Fritz Coleman: Unassisted Living
in Comedy
We Baby Boomers have always been a revolutionary generation and I like to say that we’re now revolutionizing the spirit and style of aging.
Yet we can’t deny that we do face a number of challenges when it comes to life in our golden years. Nevertheless, these problems can be greatly diminished if we maintain our zest for life, curiosity and, most of all, our sense of humor. And that’s where our guest is a true expert!
Veteran weatherman for the NBC TV channel in Los Angeles, Fritz Coleman, has returned to his roots as a standup comedian and has recently recorded an irreverent and highly hilarious look at growing older. In fact, I’m 100% certain that Fritz’s reflections on aging will have you laughing out loud. His show is called Unassisted Living and is now playing on Tubi.
Moreover, I’m thrilled to have him join us on Feisty Side of Fifty Radio to share all about it. So, if you enjoy reflecting on your golden years with a big dose of humor and a sassy sense of fun, you’ll want to make sure you catch this show!

Ep. 163 - Fort Hamilton Native & NYC Theater Artist Stephan Morrow
in Television
This week on the Bedford & Sullivan podcast, we welcome Fort Hamilton native and NYC theater artist Stephan Morrow.
Ironically meeting him serendiptiously at a cafè at the base of the Hollywood sign in LA, Stephan moved to Shore Road and 96th St in Brooklyn at age 5, going to school with Duke Snider's kids. After his parents split up when he was 8th grade, Brooklyn slowly faded from his life after getting into Stuyvesant High School, but left an indellible impact on the rest of it. He was drawn to the trenches of the working artists of NYC and eventually found his way to the off-off broadway scene, both as an actor and a playwright.
We'll discuss his early years in Brooklyn as well as his artistic endeavors.
