The Still Point: The Simplicity of Spiritual Enlightenment

    in Self Help

This riveting interview discusses The Still Point: The Simplicity of Spiritual Enlightenment book. Most people are living lives with varying degrees of stress or unease. In some, this is felt as mild unease or dissatisfaction; in others, it manifests as outright anxiety and depression. According to the book's author, Kevin Krenitsky, all these symptoms are due to a widely held but false underlying belief- that we are separate, isolated individuals, unconnected to others or the world around us. In The Still Point, we are directly led back to the recognition that our true nature of being is shared with all sentient creatures–and its inherent qualities are peace and happiness.
This teaching has been called the ‘perennial philosophy’ because it is the core message of all the great spiritual traditions throughout the ages. The fact that this realization has been overlooked by society as a whole has led to horrific consequences, including war, famine, and deeply unconscious behavior toward the planet and its inhabitants. Humanity has reached the point where it is necessary to recognize our ever-present being as unbroken peace. Only from this realization can we turn this planet into the paradise it was always meant to be and find happiness at the heart of the human experience.
During this interview, we will discuss:
What does “we are all One” really mean? Why fighting for freedom doesn’t work to bring about peace Whether karma or re-incarnation exists Where addictions come from The direct approach to “enlightenment.”  New insights into the ethics of eating a meat-based or plant-based diet If you’d like to get a copy of The Still Point, CLICK HERE!

The topic of mental health seems to be front and center as rates of burnout, anxiety, depression, and even suicide are at record levels according to data from the National Institute of Health,
In our current mental health and recovery paradigm, we often treat symptoms without looking deeper into the root causes of mental health struggles. As a result, many of us have resigned ourselves to struggling and being unhappy as “just part of the human experience” But what if it isn’t?
Bob Gardner's revolutionary approach offers a fresh perspective on living in a way that makes trauma disappear for good. Bob’s unique system focuses on working with your body to produce joy and well-being on auto-pilot no matter what has happened in your past. When that happens, trauma and pain disappear on their own leaving a person with all of the wisdom and none of the suffering.
For the past 15 years, Bob has been incorporating multiple tools and knowledge gained from his years of martial arts, breathwork, functional psychology, deep tissue release and numerous other healing modalities to help thousands of people permanently put an end depression, anxiety & addiction by identifying and healing what's at the core of these issues.addiction,

Part 1: Close Up Radio Spotlights Gozde Yucel of Kismet Consulting

    in Goals

Fremont, CA – Gozde Yucel, PhD is helping biotech and technology industries succeed by teaching them about emotional literacy. An American scientist born in Turkey, she brings extensive academic experience, corporate biotech, and personal lessons to the table.
In her previous life as a research scientist, Dr. Yucel helped cure AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia).
Funding isn't the only challenge in biotech. "In scientific academia, every solution involves teamwork but only one person is allowed to receive recognition, or an 'author' status. This system causes a great deal of conflict, hesitation, and miscommunication."
Dr. Yucel offers three basic services. Conflict Coaching helps researchers and employees come up with successful communication tools, along with learning the importance of walking in the other person's shoes. Mediation helps two researchers in direct conflict. In that capacity, Dr. Yucel acts as a neutral party. Team Workshops are wonderful for when teams are struggling and don't want to call out one person. Games promoting trust and highlight the importance of sharing emotions offer an avenue for team members to speak to the conflict. Together, the team works to identify solutions.
She is also the author of an upcoming memoir, "Kismet," which shares Dr. Yucel's personal challenges growing up in Turkey, going through divorce, raising 3 biracial children, mental health challenges, and her career transition from scientist to Conflict Coaching.
"Kismet" is scheduled to be released on March 19, 2024, on Amazon and Barnes & Noble as a hardcover, paperback, e-book, and audiobook.
For more information about Dr. Gozde Yucel and Kismet Consulting, please email drgozdeyucel@gmail.com.
